New Lawn Care Steps

WATER ME:

MORNING: 15 minutes – say, 7:00 p.m.

AFTERNOON: 15 minutes – say, 1:00 p.m.

EVENING: 15 minutes – say, 6:00 p.m.

Watering is very important to me! Weeds thrive in dry conditions. Also, be careful not to over-water – we don’t want any puddling, okay?

FERTILIZING:  Check out our New 100% Organic Fertilization Program page if you have time – Better than Chemicals!

Apply starter fertilizer when your lawn turns green – this usually happens to me after about two weeks. Wait another month and apply straight lawn fertilizer. In the fall, apply a fall fertilizer and lime. Do NOT apply any kind of weed killer for one year, or at least until I have been mowed a minimum of five times!

TIPS:

A good lawn requires care. Water and feed me as recommended above. Raise the lawn mower to its highest setting and mow me after I’ve reached five inches in height. And stay off new grass for one month!

The Dunn GUARANTEE:

We guarantee the grass seed to germinate. Care and maintenance are the responsibility of the homeowner (but you can sign up for our Organic Fertilization Program to ensure your lawn thrives!). We cannot be responsible for neglect, over-watering, or weather damage. If you are experiencing difficulty with your new lawn, please CALL US RIGHT AWAY.

Don't panic. it's organic!
